Chances are no matter what stage you are at in your spiritual unfoldment you are currently experiencing a disruption in your normal sleep pattern! This can easily disrupt the happy flow of staying "on top of the mountain" for anyone! But there are some things that may help you work through it with as little frustration as possible. First of all, for the most part this disruption is temporary at least to the degree that it is currently affecting you and most other beings on the planet. Various factors globally are contributing to fitful sleep for many and they include the chaotic node phenomenon, the ascension stage of the planet and a shift in Earth's axis/poles shifting which incidentally is also contributing to the dramatic increase in earthquakes Earth is experiencing.
Individually, this fit of can't sleep at all or can't sleep enough could be a good sign of your own spiritual growth!
Restless nights could mean you are undergoing a tremendous spiritual shift and are on the cusp of a glimmer of new changes! This is especially true if disturbances are met with hot or cold chills & night sweats (unrelated to similar symptoms for females experiencing menopause of course).
It would be wise if the sleep disturbance is prolonged enough, to check if there are "hangers on" buried deep in energy field to keep you from moving forward. It would also be wise if the disturbance is prolonged and dramatically affecting awake time, to check for ley line, meridian or negative vortexes in the bedroom and if 3rd astral body is too far out and awakening physical body.
Another phenomenon occuring that is less negative is just a shift in the amount of REM and sleep that is needed as your frequency raises to higher vibrational level. We have predisposed "belief" that we "should" get x amount of sleep and that may or may not be the case.
So first off, start there, ask yourself "Am I really tired? Or do I just think I am since I only slept two hours if at all?" You can quickly change the vibration from negative to positive by examining this question if indeed you are just needing less sleep! Don't listen to the mind, listen to the body. If you are revitalized and energized, go with it for as long as you are productive. Your body will catch up and need and get required sleep in due time. Try to make the most of it and get some work done, read a book you've been meaning to get to when house is quiet, or continue lieing in bed and practice whatever form of meditation and relaxation you are comfortable with. Even deep breath work can be extremely beneficial for your day and to de-stress from the energies. No matter where you fall on the reasons for disturbed sleep, after you've ruled out the more damaging culprits, you can be comforted by the fact that you will soon enough shift into a period of deep slumber up ahead all in Divine timing and all is it should be!

Thanks for the very insightful information! I will try to remember to check in with myself and see if I am realy tired or just think I am tired. I tend to forget that. Peace to you!
